Most couples book 12–18 months out, especially for peak season (May–October) and Saturday dates. If your wedding is within 6 months, reach out right away, last-minute availability exists, but dates fill quickly.

Absolutely. We recommend starting by reaching out through our contact form to receive our pricing and information and to prepare any questions or topics you’d like to discuss. From there, you can schedule a consultation call to talk through your vision, answer questions, and walk through the planning process, helping ensure Taso’s the right fit before you commit.

Yes. Taso serves as the host for your event, guiding introductions, toasts, and formalities while seamlessly coordinating your timeline with your venue and vendor team. His MC style is polished, professional, and intentional which enhances the guest experience without ever feeling forced or cheesy.

Yes! DJ Taso frequently performs alongside live saxophonists, percussionists, violinists, & singers.

However, I intentionally do not subcontract live musicians. I prefer that you choose talent directly so you get artists who match your exact vibe and style, without paying the heavy markup that most DJ companies add to subcontracted services.

Once chosen, I’ll discuss all sound coordination and timeline logistics so the performance is seamless.

A curated list of trusted musician referrals is available upon request.

Yes, if you’d like us to. Guest requests are welcomed and considered when they align with the vibe and direction you’ve asked DJ Taso to create. For example, if you’ve chosen not to include line dances and a guest requests one, it won’t be played. The priority is always keeping the dance floor packed, so requests that support that energy are favored. And if you’d prefer not to take guest requests at all, that’s perfectly fine too, as your vision always comes first.

No. While you’re welcome to select enhancements when you book, there’s no obligation. All production elements are owned and maintained in-house—never rented or subcontracted—allowing you the flexibility to refine or add enhancements as your vision evolves.

We request 2–3 hours of setup time prior to your guests’ arrival, depending on the scope of production. This allows us to properly install and test sound, lighting, the DJ booth, and any enhancements such as uplighting or special effects. While we don’t always need the full amount of time, this ensures everything is fully tested, sound-checked, and visually polished before guests arrive.

If you need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, Taso will work with you to transfer your date (subject to availability). Any retainer and payments made will apply to the new date. Full cancellation and rescheduling terms are clearly outlined in the contract.
