Steph & Robby’s High-Energy Wedding at Clarks Landing Yacht Club
On August 29, 2026, Steph and Robby celebrated their wedding with 200 of their closest family and friends at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. From the beginning, their vision was clear: create an atmosphere everyone could enjoy, build the energy throughout the night, and eventually turn the dance floor into the high-energy EDM and throwback party they had envisioned.
And that’s exactly where the night went.
Setting the Tone at Clarks Landing
Our day began with ceremony audio support, providing microphones and sound for the ceremony while their music was handled separately.
From there, it was time for the reception.
Steph and Robby’s bridal party immediately helped establish the atmosphere. After being introduced, they surrounded the newlyweds on the dance floor and rocked out together, giving everyone an early preview of the energy that was coming later.
For their first dance, we added our Dancing on the Clouds effect, creating a low-lying layer of clouds across the dance floor while Steph and Robby shared one of the more intimate moments of the evening.
Then it was time to start building the party.
With approximately 200 guests and a wide range of ages in the room, the goal wasn’t to immediately push the party to its peak. Instead, we focused on building a feel-good dance floor that gave everyone a chance to be part of the celebration.
Building the Energy Throughout the Night
One of the biggest parts of creating a great wedding dance floor is knowing when to push the energy—and when to let it build.
Early in the reception, we kept things accessible for the entire room, mixing recognizable party favorites and music that could bring different generations together. As the night progressed, the sound gradually shifted closer to Steph and Robby’s own musical tastes.
Their favorites included artists like FISHER, John Summit, Jubël, David Guetta and HUGEL, along with plenty of 2000’s and 2010s hip-hop and party throwbacks.
Adding another live element to the reception was Joseph on saxophone, who Steph and Robby hired to perform alongside the DJ throughout the night. The combination of live sax and DJ created some incredible moments on the dance floor and added another layer of energy without taking away from the flow of the music.
Stephanie’s Party Dress Reintroduction
One of our favorite moments of the night came when Stephanie changed into her party dress.
Rather than having her simply walk back onto the dance floor, we used the moment to kick off the next phase of the party.
Once we received the cue that Stephanie was ready, we began mixing in HNTR’s remix of “Stephanie.” As the track started building, we shifted everyone’s attention toward the ballroom entrance.
Right on cue, the doors opened.
Stephanie reentered with her Maid of Honor as the track hit, and Stephanie and Robby immediately began throwing party hats into the crowd.
The reaction gave us exactly the energy shift we wanted.
From there, it was time to take the night somewhere completely different.
Turning the Final Hour Into Their Party
The last hour became much more representative of Steph and Robby’s personal music taste.
We leaned heavily into EDM and house while mixing in some harder 2010s hip-hop and party records along the way. FISHER, John Summit, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, HUGEL and similar sounds helped transform the final stretch of the reception into the high-energy atmosphere they wanted.
It wasn’t about playing one style of music for five straight hours.
It was about earning the ability to go there.
By keeping the earlier portion of the dance floor approachable for their entire guest list, we could progressively increase the intensity until the people still packed onto the floor were ready for exactly the type of party Steph and Robby envisioned.
Joseph continued bringing the live sax element into the mix, while Clarks Landing’s in-house lighting complemented the energy on the dance floor.
And after a final hour of EDM, throwbacks and plenty of controlled chaos, we closed the night with “Best Love Song” by T.I. featuring Chris Brown—one final singalong with their friends and family.
